Grand Theft Auto: Daniel Radcliffe Talks BBC Movie

Daniel Radcliffe was cast as Rockstar Games' Sam Houser for BBC's upcoming film about the making of Grand Theft Auto, and the Harry Potter star discussed violence, the lawsuit, and more with IGN at San Diego Comic-Con.

"It was a lot of fun to play Sam Houser," Radcliffe said. "I think people who love the games will really be interested in how they came together.... It takes place from after Vice City was released during San Andreas. It's about the Hot Coffee incident, and Jack Thompson is involved."

Radcliffe also discussed the influence of the series' violence, and disagreed with the notion that Grand Theft Auto, as some such as Thompson suggest, is responsible for violent behavior. "It's too simplistic," he said.
